In Kyrgyzstan, imports of low-alcohol beverage suspended

Bishkek, Zpresskg.com -Government of Kyrgyzstan suspended imports of low-alcohol beverage, it is reported by the information policy department of the Government Office.
This decision was made due to complaints filed by citizens of Kyrgyzstan, including parents of minor children, and given the significant harm to the consumption of such beverages.
In this regard, the Ministry of Health requested to submit an opinion about the dangers of soft drinks, the Ministry of economic regulation to appropriate examination in terms of limiting the consumption and sale of alcoholic beverages, and provide information to the government. In addition, Gasalkoagenstvo instructed to stop issuing permits to import alcoholic beverages to obtain clarifications from the Ministry of Health.
According to the Government of KR, the average age of consumers of these beverages is 12-16 years. Such beverages contribute to the early, regular alcohol consumption, which leads to the development of children and youth alcoholism.
In one of these drinks named "Jaguar" contains caffeine, colorants, flavors, sweeteners, sodium benzoate (E 211), carbon dioxide. The influence of these components is detrimental to a young body.
